The Benicàssim City Council has put out to tender a project to renovate and improve the asphalt pavement of several streets in the municipality, with an investment of 482,930.01 euros, covering nearly 30,000 square meters of interurban roads.

This action's main objective is to guarantee road safety, promote accessibility, and optimize urban mobility within the municipal area. The initiative seeks continuous improvement of public services and city maintenance.

"This action represents another step in our commitment to city maintenance and the continuous improvement of public services. Investing in the condition of our streets is investing in safety, accessibility, and mobility."

The project includes a planned and technically justified intervention, which will allow for comprehensive action in those sections where the pavement shows a greater degree of deterioration. This not only improves circulation but also optimizes municipal resources by reducing future maintenance actions.

The contract includes the technical definition, valuation, and execution of the necessary actions to reverse the current situation. Planned interventions include milling the existing pavement and replacing the wearing course, as well as reinforcing with new bituminous mixtures in sections that require it. The project will contribute to the conservation of public space and the improvement of Benicàssim's urban image, ensuring a homogeneous and quality finish on streets such as Palmeral, Conde Bau, Sigalero, Eivissa, La Punta, Mossén Elies, and Pontazgo, as well as on Barranquet and La Pobla avenues.
