A total of 20 people from the province of Castellón are summoned to the exams for the direct acquisition of the Baccalaureate degree for those over 20 years old, organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities.

The call takes place on April 21 and 22 at IES Francesc Ribalta in Castellón de la Plana. This center is one of three venues enabled in the Valencian Community for these exams, which bring together a total of 126 candidates across the autonomous region.
Of the candidates, 43 are from the province of Alicante, 20 from Castellón, and 63 from Valencia. To be eligible, applicants must be at least 20 years old or turn 20 during 2026, not be enrolled in Baccalaureate under any regime, and not already possess a Baccalaureate degree or an equivalent academic qualification.
The purpose of this test is to verify that registered individuals have achieved the objectives and competencies required for this educational stage, offering a direct path to obtaining the degree. The exam is structured differently according to the various Baccalaureate modalities and pathways.
The test is divided into two blocks: one for common subjects and another for the subjects of the chosen modality. It consists of a total of seven exercises, each lasting one and a half hours. The first four correspond to common subjects: Valencian, Spanish, Foreign Language, and Philosophy-History. The remaining three focus on modality subjects, and each exercise includes content from the first and second years.
Once the tests are completed, provisional grades will be published on April 30, 2026, and final grades on May 14, 2026. Those who pass the process can request the processing of their Baccalaureate degree at the host institute. This call is part of lifelong learning policies, aiming to facilitate adult education and improve professional development opportunities.
