The Modesto restaurant, located in Cala de Finestrat, has been the setting for the launch of the “Menjars de la Terra” gastronomic route in Marina Baixa, with the loquat as the main star.

The “Menjars de la Terra” gastronomic route commenced at the Modesto restaurant in Cala de Finestrat, offering a proposal that perfectly aligns with its maritime and Mediterranean identity. The experience began with a welcome cocktail featuring an assortment of snacks and a gilda of cured beef and Callosa loquat.
Among the starters, the Alicante coca with aspencat, smoked cod, and Callosa loquat air stood out, as did the artichoke flower on parmesan cream with crispy loquat. For the main course, the restaurant presented a red tuna and duck ham rice, a combination that reinforces its commitment to flavorful and characterful cuisine.
The sweet finale arrived with a white chocolate and vanilla creamy dessert, Callosa loquat chutney, and crispy raspberries, a dessert where the loquat once again played a central role, this time from a sweeter and more delicate perspective.
