Campomanes de Altea Mooring Holders Launch Legal Offensive Against Marina Greenwich

The community of owners denounces the violation of historical rights and exorbitant economic conditions in the port's management.

The community of Luis Campomanes Port Mooring Holders, comprising 432 owners, has launched a legal, institutional, and public offensive against the concessionaire Marina Greenwich S.A. regarding the port's management.

The decision was unanimously adopted at the Extraordinary General Assembly held on March 31, 2026. During this meeting, those affected approved an initial round of funding to promote immediate legal actions and a strategy to disseminate the so-called “Campomanes Case”.
The holders argue that the current situation stems from an alteration of rights acquired over decades, through what they describe as a self-serving reinterpretation of the administrative concession. They denounce the imposition of new economic conditions that they consider “exorbitant” and far removed from the original framework under which they acquired their usage rights.

Furthermore, the affected parties warn of actions they consider irregular and even potentially illegal, as well as pressure on holders and businesses linked to the port. In their assessment, a model aimed at maximizing the economic profitability of the concession is being imposed to the detriment of pre-existing rights.
Given this situation, the community has announced that it will pursue the case “to its ultimate consequences,” with the aim of demanding accountability at all necessary levels and defending what they consider their legitimate rights against the current management of the port enclave.
