The Jávea Nautical Club has commenced improvement and modernization works on its facilities, with a total investment of 7.5 million euros, to create a more accessible and open space.

The Jávea Nautical Club has initiated improvement, modernization, and reorganization works on its facilities with an investment of over 5 million euros. The project, driven by public-private collaboration between the Generalitat and the concessionaire, aims to transform the area into a greener, more accessible space open to residents and tourists.
The project, with an 18-month execution period, includes the urbanization of 12,500 square meters. It features new pedestrian areas, a parking lot with over 100 spaces, sports facilities, landscaped areas, a viewpoint terrace, a sailing school, and a new jetty to optimize the port's water surface. The first phase is already underway with the resurfacing of access roads.
The third vice-president and Minister of Environment, Infrastructure, Territory, and Recovery, Vicente Martínez Mus, highlighted that this intervention «translates into more employment, dynamism, and future for the Xàbia Nautical Club». The work will be interrupted during the summer months to reduce the impact on the tourist season and will resume from September.
The works were made possible by the extension of the Jávea Nautical Club's concession until June 2053, providing «stability and legal certainty to a project capable of attracting private investment», according to Martínez Mus. The project also expands the concession area by 7,386 square meters of land and 32,974 square meters of water surface.
The Generalitat is undertaking other projects in the port of Jávea, including the renovation of the wastewater pumping station and the installation of solar panels on port infrastructure, with a combined investment of 350,000 euros. Additionally, 74,000 euros have been invested in a self-consumption system with 119 photovoltaic modules at the fish market and port offices. Modernization works on the Nou Fontana de Xàbia port are also ongoing, with an investment of 2.1 million euros.
