UNED Dénia has successfully concluded the 14th edition of its '1 Book for 1 Kilo' solidarity campaign, managing to collect over 1,500 kilograms of products for the city's Mesa Solidaria.

The initiative, held to coincide with Book Day, maintained similar collection levels to the previous year, with a total of 1,508 kilograms/units of non-perishable food and hygiene products.
The event was notable for the high participation of local schools and the direct involvement of high school students, who collaborated in logistical support tasks alongside center staff and volunteers. All collected products will be delivered to the Mesa Solidaria de Dénia, an entity responsible for their distribution among vulnerable families in the municipality.

"It is necessary to continue adding solidarity in a context where many families require support. The campaign demonstrates how simple it is to weave culture and solidarity when there are good intentions."
