The municipality of Ondara has been designated as one of the official venues for the FBCV finals and final phases of the 2025-2026 season. This decision consolidates the town's commitment to organizing top-level sporting events, making its Municipal Pavilion a key center for Valencian basketball in the final stretch of the season.
The first major event will take place from April 10 to 12, with the Junior Men's Autonomous Final Phase. Renowned teams such as Valencia Basket, CB L’Horta Godella, Velabasket CB Sueca, and Amics Castelló will participate. The top two classified teams will qualify for the Spanish Club Championship. Matches can be followed live through the EsportViu platforms and the FBCV YouTube channel.
Subsequently, from April 24 to 26, Ondara will host the finals of the Cadet IR Autonomous Women's category, with the presence of Valencia Basket, Fundación 2000 Valencia Basket, C.B. L’Horta de Godella, and NBF Castelló. Finally, on the weekend of May 23, the municipality will host the Infantil IR Preferente and Cadete IR Preferente finals, reinforcing its role in youth and competitive basketball.
“"Ondara is a geographically very well-located town, practically equidistant within the Valencian Community, but above all, we come here because the City Council and the Club Bàsquet Ondara have always shown great interest and total willingness to host these events."
Salvador Fabregat, president of the Valencian Community Basketball Federation, explained that the choice of Ondara is due to its strategic location and the great willingness of the City Council and the Club Bàsquet Ondara. He also praised the quality of the municipal facilities, stating that the pavilion meets the ideal conditions for this type of competition and that the economic and social impact for the municipality is significant.
The Sports Councilor, Jordi Ruiz, expressed his pride in hosting an event of this level, highlighting the presence of the elite of youth basketball, with teams that are one step away from professionalism. Ruiz emphasized the importance of the municipal facilities and the federation's trust, calling for the participation of the citizens of Ondara and the entire region to enjoy high-level basketball.
