A motorcyclist was injured this afternoon in a collision with a car at a roundabout in Xàbia, sustaining a possible collarbone fracture and being transferred to Dénia hospital.

The incident took place at noon at the Joanot Martorell roundabout, located in the urban area of Xàbia. This roundabout is a key point connecting Trenc d'Alba avenue, Camí Fondo, and Ausiàs March street.
After the collision, the motorcycle driver was left on the ground showing signs of pain. Patrols from the Local Police, whose station is very close, quickly arrived at the scene, along with medical personnel from the Red Cross and Basic Life Support.
Paramedics attended to and immobilized the motorcyclist. Initial assessments indicate a possible collarbone fracture. Subsequently, the injured person was transferred by a BLS ambulance to Dénia hospital for specialized medical care.
