The Alicante Bar Association (ICALI) has formalized the purchase of a premises exceeding 200 square meters in Dénia, becoming the first owned headquarters for the delegation in the Judicial District.

The new location, situated on El Verger street, number 1, just a few meters from the Palace of Justice, strengthens ICALI's institutional presence in the capital of Marina Alta. This acquisition will allow for the optimization and expansion of services provided by the association to both members in Dénia and legal professionals throughout the judicial district, offering a modern and functional space.

"The new headquarters will allow ICALI not only to acquire a space in which to improve attention and services to its members, but also to definitively consolidate the presence of the Association in the city of Dénia and its judicial district, the third largest in terms of ICALI membership."

Ignacio Gally · Dean of ICALI
The dean of ICALI, Ignacio Gally, and the delegate of the association in Dénia, Antonio Doménech, signed the purchase agreement for the property on Thursday, concluding an analysis process initiated by the Governing Board. The operation involves moving the current headquarters, which was under a rental agreement on Marqués de Campo street, to a strategic area next to the judicial environment, improving convenience for daily professional practice and connection with justice institutions.
The acquired premises, with an approximate area of 215 square meters, is located on a corner with facades facing two streets, providing high visibility and abundant natural light. It will have direct access from the public road and will undergo a comprehensive renovation in the coming months to adapt it as the collegiate headquarters. The adaptation project includes an assembly hall for training activities, several offices, a room for ICAMASC services, a common workspace for members, a public reception area, and two bathrooms, as well as a technical solution to ensure universal accessibility.

"The possibility of having an owned headquarters, well located and with the capacity to host training activities and professional meetings, is an important step to continue providing quality service to the legal profession and to strengthen the role of the Association as a reference institution in Marina Alta."

Antonio Doménech · Delegate of ICALI in Dénia
The future headquarters on El Verger street will be the first owned premises for the association in the Judicial District of Dénia.
