The occupants of a vehicle had to exit quickly upon detecting a strong smell of gasoline and smoke emanating from the engine. Within minutes, the car, which was traveling through the Gran Sol urbanization in Calp, became an inferno. Fortunately, the occupants were unharmed.
Patrols from the Local Police of Calp arrived promptly to secure the area and manage traffic. Subsequently, firefighters from the Benissa station arrived to extinguish the flames. Their swift action was crucial in preventing the fire from spreading to the hedges of nearby villas.
Civil Protection of Calp also intervened, providing support to the firefighters in their extinction efforts. The fire was spectacular, and the car was completely destroyed.
