In the La Costera region, Xàtiva will receive over 1.4 million euros for the conditioning of road surfaces on various routes, the improvement of the ‘La Vila’ recreational area, and the redevelopment of Caputxins street. Other municipalities such as Moixent (climbing wall and IT equipment), Vallada (improvement of the perimeter road), La Font de la Figuera (security cameras), Novetlè (street redevelopment), Rotglà i Corberà (parking at the sports center), La Granja de la Costera (children's playground), and Cerdà (wooden pergola) will also receive funding.
In La Vall d'Albaida, the investment amounts to 1.57 million euros for 7 municipalities. The most significant project is the adaptation of the green zone on Batalla de Lepanto street in Bocairent, with a provincial contribution of 366,000 euros. Other projects include the renovation of the pipeline from the Teulars reservoir and the reform of the Espai Jove in Bocairent. Atzeneta will improve the accessibility of the House of Culture and create a dog park; Rugat will remodel the rainwater drainage system and rural roads; Montaverner will carry out works in the school and gymnasium; l’Olleria will build breakwaters; Castelló de Rugat will expand the cemetery; and Aielo de Rugat will improve rural roads.
The Provincial Council's Open Plan has so far approved 1,183 projects with a total investment of 184 million euros. Vice-president Natàlia Enguix highlighted that the plan aims for municipalities to improve infrastructure and services, with a significant portion dedicated to renewing the integral water cycle and creating green and sports spaces.
President Vicent Mompó expressed his satisfaction with the Provincial Council's presence in municipalities, improving squares, streets, and sports facilities. He emphasized the institution's goal of being closer to the towns and their people.
