The Illustrious Bar Association of Alicante (Icali) has formalized the purchase of a commercial premises of over 200 square meters in Dénia, near the Palace of Justice, for its delegation in Marina Alta.

This acquisition, located on Verger street, number 1, marks the first time the Icali delegation in Dénia will have its own space, thus strengthening the institutional presence of the association in the capital of Marina Alta. The new headquarters will allow for the optimization and expansion of services provided by the association to both its members in Dénia and legal professionals throughout the judicial district.
The dean of Icali, Ignacio Gally, and the delegate of the association in Dénia, Antonio Domenech, signed the purchase agreement for the property this Thursday, concluding an analysis and evaluation process initiated by the Governing Board of the association. The operation involves moving the current collegiate headquarters, which was leased on Marqués de Campo street, to a strategic area next to the judicial environment, which will result in greater convenience for daily professional practice and better connection with justice institutions.

"The new headquarters will allow Icali not only to have a space to improve attention and services to its members, but also to definitively consolidate the presence of the Association in the city of Dénia and its judicial district, the third largest in terms of registered members of Icali."

Ignacio Gally · Dean of Icali
The acquired premises, with an approximate area of 215 square meters, is located on a corner with facades facing two streets, giving it high visibility and abundant natural light. It has direct access from the public road and will undergo a comprehensive renovation in the coming months to adapt it as the collegiate headquarters. The adaptation project includes the creation of an assembly hall for training and institutional activities, several offices, a room for the Icamasc service, a common workspace for members, a public reception area, and two bathrooms, as well as the installation of a technical solution to ensure universal accessibility.

"The possibility of having an owned headquarters, well located and with the capacity to host training activities and professional meetings, is an important step to continue providing quality service to the legal profession and to strengthen the role of the Association as a reference institution in Marina Alta."

Antonio Domenech · Delegate of Icali in Dénia
The future headquarters on Verger street will be the first owned by the association in the Judicial District of Dénia. Currently, Icali has 476 members in the Judicial District of Dénia, of whom 361 are practicing and 115 are non-practicing. This new collegiate headquarters adds to Icali's efforts to improve infrastructure and resources available to its members, strengthening its role in supporting professional practice and its commitment to defending the legal profession and quality justice.
