The Civil Guard has dismantled a hub of xenophobic violence in Aldaia, with the arrest of two young men aged 18 and 20 accused of nighttime assaults against people of foreign origin.

The investigation began in November 2025 following a complaint from a migrant who was assaulted in public. This case was followed by other similar incidents, which allowed agents from the Aldaia Main Post to identify a pattern: the attackers selected areas frequented by immigrants and acted under the cover of darkness.
The modus operandi of the detainees was particularly dangerous. They used their vehicles to approach and violently push people walking or riding electric scooters, causing them falls and various injuries. By acting from moving cars, the incidents have also been classified as road safety offenses, aggravating the legal situation of those arrested.
The identification of the vehicles used was key to the arrests. Thanks to the analysis of security cameras and the crucial testimony of the victims, the Civil Guard confirmed the identity of these two young Spanish nationals. They are formally charged with three counts of injury, three road safety offenses, and three hate crimes, due to the clear xenophobic motivation of their actions.
The investigation, referred to the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 2 of Torrent, highlights the seriousness of these behaviors that seek to intimidate vulnerable groups. With these arrests, authorities consider a period of insecurity in the streets of Aldaia to be over, emphasizing the importance of citizen complaints in combating outbreaks of hatred in the community.
