The Department of Social Welfare, Equality, and Public Health of Paiporta has created the new Community Well-being and Calm Space. This initiative aims to promote the emotional well-being of the population through simple practices such as conscious breathing, relaxation, and personal growth.
This new community resource is designed to be an open, accessible, and participatory space. It seeks to provide individuals with tools to manage stress, foster self-awareness, and improve their daily emotional well-being.
“"After the emotional challenges many people have faced in recent years, it is essential for administrations to promote spaces for meeting, listening, and emotional care. This project offers practical and accessible resources to improve the quality of life for citizens."
The Mayor of Paiporta has stated that emotional health is an essential part of people's well-being and the social cohesion of the municipality. With initiatives like this, proximity policies and citizen support are reinforced, promoting a healthier, more resilient, and connected community.
The Community Well-being and Calm Space collaborates with the Official College of Psychology of the Valencian Community. Sessions will be weekly and free, taking place every Friday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the CONVIU Space, located at Calle Mestre Serrano, 23.
Interested individuals can pre-register by calling 607 581 213 or through the form provided by the City Council on its website.
