The Civil Guard has apprehended two men, aged 18 and 20, in Valencia, allegedly involved in a series of assaults on migrant individuals in the town of Aldaia. The incidents, being investigated as hate crimes, occurred between November and December 2025, primarily at night and in an area frequented by people of foreign origin.
The investigation began following a complaint filed in November 2025, reporting an assault with injuries to a migrant person and a possible road safety offense. Subsequently, other similar incidents were recorded within a short period, leading agents to consider a xenophobic motive behind the attacks.
The perpetrators operated in a specific area of Aldaia, where they would approach victims and push them while they walked or rode scooters, causing falls and injuries. In some cases, the attackers even recorded the assaults on video, which proved crucial for the investigation.
The inquiries conducted by the Civil Guard allowed for the identification of two vehicles used by the suspects to travel to the scene of the incidents. This information, along with victim statements, was fundamental in clarifying authorship. The detainees, both Spanish nationals, face charges for three hate crimes, three counts of assault, and three road safety offenses.
The operation was carried out by agents from the Aldaia Main Post, who have prepared the corresponding proceedings. The case has been handed over to the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 2 of Torrent for the continuation of the judicial process.
