A season of constant struggle and a sporting year marked by adversity, in a difficult context. We cannot ignore that this team has had to compete in a very complex season, where we have been forced to fight against numerous external factors beyond the club's control that have conditioned our path from the beginning. Despite the obstacles, we have defended our identity with pride and dignity, in every city, against every rival, with the responsibility of defending our badge and the honor of representing our city, Torrent.

Torrent CF has confirmed its relegation to Tercera División following a 2-1 defeat against Poblense in Mallorca, concluding a season marked by adversity and external factors.
Torrent CF is once again a Tercera División team. This Sunday's 2-1 defeat in Mallorca against Poblense has mathematically sealed the relegation of Toni Seligrat's team, which has accumulated only 27 points with three matchdays remaining in the League.
The joy of promotion lasted only one year for this team, which achieved a milestone by qualifying for the second round of the Copa del Rey and facing a First Division team like Betis. However, the match could not be played at their home ground, Sant Gregori, due to ongoing works, which led to a dispute between the club and the city council. The entity indirectly referenced this situation in its official statement after the relegation.
The club's statement, published just hours after the match in Mallorca, also expresses hope for its fans, assuring them that they will continue to strive for new objectives. They affirm that they are an unbreakable structure and that this relegation does not halt the overall project of Torrent CF, highlighting their solid structure with over 1,200 players in their youth academy.
Despite this optimistic message, the statement has not been well-received on social media by fans, who accuse the club of a lack of planning. They criticize the decision to "dismantle" the promotion-winning team, selling off top players and changing the coach in November when results were not favorable.
For their part, the government team of the Torrent City Council and Mayor Amparo Folgado have conveyed their support to the club. They expressed their pride in Torrent CF and assured municipal backing in both good and difficult times. They highlighted that, although the expected sporting results were not achieved this year, the club has carried the city's name across Spain and provided special moments such as the Copa del Rey match against Real Betis. They are convinced that the club will soon bring joy back to its fans and the entire city of Torrent.
