Four Injured, Including a Baby, in Aldaia House Fire

A fire that broke out early Monday morning in a residence in Aldaia has led to four injuries, including an 11-month-old baby, as reported by the Information and Coordination Center for Emergencies (CICU).

Medical services attended to four people: a 53-year-old woman taken to Manises Hospital for smoke inhalation; another 35-year-old woman with burns and smoke inhalation, transported to La Fe; an 11-month-old infant affected by smoke inhalation; and a three-year-old girl who also suffered inhalation and was treated on-site.
The medical operation involved two SAMU units, one SVB unit, an urgent transport ambulance, and a Primary Care medical team.
The fire alert was received at 3:14 AM this Monday in a home on Marconi Street in Aldaia, where four teams from Torrent and Paterna were dispatched, according to the Firefighters Consortium.
The fire originated in a duplex located on the ground floor of an apartment building. Upon the firefighters' arrival, the fire was advanced and affected both floors of the duplex.
Responders carried out intensive firefighting and search and rescue operations, as well as the preventive evacuation of homes affected by smoke. Rescue hoods were provided to several individuals.
The firefighting and building ventilation efforts concluded around 5:30 AM this Monday.
