A National Police vehicle crashed into the ground floor of a home in Alaquàs on Saturday night, sparking a fire that required the intervention of the Valencia Fire Consortium to rescue a woman with reduced mobility.

The events took place around 8:26 PM last Saturday, when emergency services were alerted to a police car impacting a house on San Pascual Street in the town. The impact generated a fire on the ground floor of the property, which was used as a garage.
Four fire brigades from the Torrent and Paterna stations, along with a sergeant from Torrent and an officer from the Consortium, quickly deployed to the scene. Their actions were crucial in rescuing a woman with reduced mobility who was on the first floor of the dwelling at the time of the accident.
Smoke rapidly spread throughout the house. Firefighters entered, provided the woman with a rescue mask, and temporarily evacuated her to the upper terrace, considered a safe area. Subsequently, they remained with her until they could safely bring her down to the street.
Regarding the crashed vehicle, firefighters did not have to extricate the occupants but did intervene to remove the car, which had become embedded in the house. After its removal, they escorted the police vehicle's transfer to prevent any risk of reignition of the fire.
