The investigation began after detecting the possible illicit activity of a local resident, who allegedly supplied narcotics to other traffickers in the region. For months, officers monitored the suspect's movements, observing constant travel across various points of the province despite no known professional activity.
The Civil Guard managed to anticipate the location of a meeting between the suspect and other alleged drug traffickers in Benetússer. A surveillance operation was deployed, and when the two involved vehicles arrived at the agreed point, officers identified the drivers and searched the vehicles.
During the operation, eight blocks of a white substance, apparently cocaine, weighing approximately one kilo each, were found. Additionally, 87,150 euros in cash, arranged in bundles, were seized.
Subsequently, officers searched the main suspect's home in Benetússer, uncovering further evidence related to the criminal activity. In total, three mobile phones, three vehicles, and one motorcycle were seized, in addition to the confiscated drugs and money.
The two arrested individuals are under investigation for drug trafficking. The proceedings have been sent to the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 5 in Catarroja.
