The Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU) received the alert around 8:30 PM, reporting an assault with a bladed weapon on Santa Rosa street in Picassent. Immediately, a SAMU (Emergency Medical Assistance Service) unit was dispatched to the scene to assist the injured man.

After receiving initial medical attention, the man was transferred to the Hospital General de València, where he remains hospitalized. The exact circumstances of the attack have not yet been made public and are under investigation by the competent authorities.

This incident in Picassent is part of a series of three violent events that took place on the same Friday in the l'Horta region. One of them was reported in Burjassot, where the National Police Homicide Group is investigating the death of a man around 60 years old, whose body was found around 7:00 AM in a public street with injuries consistent with a bladed weapon.

The third case occurred in Benetússer, where the Guardia Civil is investigating the discovery of a man's lifeless body in a home on Nuestra Señora del Socorro street. The alert was received around 6:50 AM, when a person reported being locked in a room of the residence. After the intervention of the Local Police and the Guardia Civil, the man's body was found without vital signs. The investigation remains open pending autopsy results to determine the causes of death in both cases.
