The band La Gossa Sorda has presented in Picassent the details of the concerts on April 24 and 25, 2026, which will mark the beginning of their 'A Tornallom' tour, announcing the sale of nearly 1,000 additional tickets for each day.

The presentation, held in collaboration with the Picassent City Council and members of the invited groups, has unveiled a proposal developed over more than a year and a half. This includes a renewed stage production, a specially prepared repertoire, and a musical and political program consistent with the group's trajectory.

"It has been a stroke of luck to find ourselves in Picassent."

Josep Nadal · Singer of La Gossa Sorda
Josep Nadal, singer of La Gossa Sorda, highlighted the facilities and conditions offered by the municipality to make this special return possible. He emphasized that the concert format will allow the band to offer longer performances and freely choose the projects that will accompany them, giving them the political content they deserve, especially due to the consequences of the DANA of 2024 and the significance of returning to l'Horta Sud.
The lineup will include Sociología Animal and Tito Pontet on Friday, April 24, while on Saturday, April 25, Jazzwoman and Nonai Sound will perform. The band has expressed its desire to use this return to give visibility to new projects from the country that sing in Valencian, maintain a clear commitment to their environment, and share a vital and artistic attitude similar to that of La Gossa Sorda, also ensuring a female presence on both days.
The schedules have been designed differently: on Friday, April 24, the program will start at 7:30 PM to finish earlier, and on Saturday, April 25, it will begin at 8:30 PM to be compatible with participation in the April 25 demonstration in València.
The concerts will have a strong social protest component. The band from Pego wants their return to serve as a platform to give voice to collectives and causes that are part of their political and emotional universe, such as the associations of victims of the DANA of 2024 and the Local Emergency and Reconstruction Committees (CLER). Topics such as the right to housing and the fight against touristification will also be addressed, with the participation of the Sindicat de Llogateres and the Sindicat d'Habitatge de València, as well as the Unió Llauradora and Guaitem la Terra, a collective opposing the golf course project in Pego.
The proposal will incorporate elements of popular culture, with the participation of the Jove Muixeranga de València on Friday and the Nova Muixeranga d'Algemesí on Saturday. The day of April 25 will also feature the arrival of the Flama del Correllengua and the presence of Joves d'Acció Cultural del País Valencià and Famílies pel Valencià, who will call for participation in the Diada del 25 d'Abril demonstration.
Another project present will be Palestine Drinks, a non-profit company that dedicates its profits to social action in Gaza and the West Bank, whose presence is possible thanks to the self-management model of the concerts.
From an artistic perspective, Salvador Bolufer, drummer of La Gossa Sorda, explained that the band has undergone an intense rehearsal process to meet musical and scenic expectations, respecting the group's essence and incorporating new visual and technological elements. The invited groups have expressed their excitement to be part of this tour, highlighting the importance of giving voice to an organized Horta Sud and strengthening a committed musical circuit.
The Culture Councilor of Picassent, Jaume Sobrevela, noted that the municipality has prepared to host up to 15,000 people each day, with parking areas and the involvement of local establishments. A 'Menú Gossa Sorda' and takeaway food packs will be offered, reinforcing the economic impact on the municipality. Sobrevela highlighted the Picassent City Council's commitment to Valencian music and the special significance of having La Gossa Sorda in the locality for the first time.
