The National Police have dismantled a drug dealing point in Valencia's La Luz neighborhood, arresting four people – one woman and three men aged between 29 and 34 – as alleged perpetrators of drug trafficking and criminal group membership offenses. One of the detainees is also accused of illegal weapons possession and possessing a prohibited weapon.
The investigation began in May when officers from the Abastos district station became aware of a suspected cocaine distribution point. According to investigations, several men were selling narcotics from both a residence in the neighborhood and a nearby bar.
Surveillance operations by officers confirmed a high number of buyers at the two locations under investigation. During police actions, over six grams of cocaine, divided into various doses ready for sale, were seized, prompting a request for a judicial search warrant.
During the house search, officers found a 9mm Parabellum pistol, a prohibited "pen gun" weapon, an air rifle, and 1,200 euros in cash.
Concurrently, and with the collaboration of the Unit Adscrita of the National Police to the Valencian Community, the investigated hospitality venue was also inspected, where two administrative reports for serious infractions were processed.
The operation resulted in the arrest of the four alleged members of the group. Three of them had prior police records. One of the detainees has already been brought before the judicial authorities, while the other three have been released after giving statements, with the obligation to appear before the judicial authority when summoned.
The National Police reported that the investigation remains open and further arrests related to this case are not ruled out. They also emphasized that citizen collaboration is crucial for detecting and eradicating drug dealing points, encouraging the public to report any information through the police force's designated channels.
