Starting Monday, June 8th, Alaquàs will have a new independent bus line, the 163B, exclusively covering the route between Alaquàs and Faitanar.

This new line is a split from the current 163A, which will maintain its route towards València and its connection to the metro stations of Avenida del Cid and Nou d’Octubre. The creation of this dedicated line is the result of efforts by the Alaquàs City Council to improve public transport, a key concern for residents.
Improvements in public transport for Alaquàs are not new. In 2021, a shuttle bus was established connecting to the metro line at Nou d’Octubre and later to Avenida del Cid. Continuing this work, last December, the same line was extended to include a stop in Faitanar.
With this new split service, operating from Mondays to Fridays, access to the metro network is enhanced. All schedules can be found on the municipal website.
The Alaquàs City Council views this as a partial solution, as efforts have been underway for years to realize the L4 metro line, announced in the Metropolitan Mobility Plan for the València area, to finally bring the metro to Alaquàs. This demand was reiterated in a motion unanimously approved on Thursday, May 28th.
