The Moors and Christians troupes of Paterna are celebrating their anticipated Mig Any Fester from April 10 to 12, 2026 at the Tàctica Business Park, featuring a diverse program for all ages.

This gathering, organized by the Federación de Intercomparsas with the support of the Paterna City Council, serves as a reunion point for festival participants, just four months before the start of the Main Festivities in August. The Mig Any has established itself as a day of coexistence and camaraderie, filled with laughter, music, gastronomy, and the characteristic enthusiasm of the festival community.
The festive weekend will kick off on Friday with the concentration of troupes, followed by an omelet contest, a new addition this year sponsored by Huevos Guillem, and a mobile disco session to liven up the night.
Saturday will feature children's entertainment, board games, the Solidarity Bingo, whose proceeds will go to a Paterna NGO, and live music with DJs until late into the night. The traditional Cervezodromo, sponsored by Amstel, will also be inaugurated.

"To enjoy a weekend full of activities, which reminds us of who we are. The Mig Any is about living together and strengthening the bonds that unite us as festival participants."

Eva Esparcia · President of Intercomparsas of Paterna
One of the most anticipated moments will arrive on Sunday, April 12, with the celebration of the Festero Proclamation, which this year reaches its sixteenth edition. The voice of the Mig Any will be Keko, a member of the Almogàvers troupe, whose candidacy was selected through a voting process. Before the proclamation, the traditional mass will be held.
Subsequently, all troupes will participate in a grand festive parade through the town's streets, returning to the Business Park to conclude the weekend. Additionally, as is customary, Sunday will also feature the fraternity meal with the popular “arròs amb fessols i naps” (rice with beans and turnips), of which nearly 3,000 portions will be prepared for participants and neighbors.
