The city of Paterna is gearing up for the celebration of Mig Any Fester 2025, a key event in the Moors and Christians calendar, taking place from April 10 to 12 at the Parque Empresarial Tàctica.

This event, organized by the Federación de Intercomparsas with the collaboration of the Paterna City Council, marks the halfway point between the past and upcoming Major Festivities in August. For three days, festeros and festeras will gather in an atmosphere of camaraderie, with a program combining music, gastronomy, and tradition.
The program will kick off on Friday, April 10, with the concentration of comparsas, followed by a tortilla contest, a novelty this year, and a discomóvil to start the weekend. Saturday, April 11, will be dedicated to various activities such as children's entertainment, board games, a charity bingo with proceeds going to a local NGO, and DJ sessions that will last until dawn. Additionally, the popular “Cervezódromo” will be inaugurated.
Sunday, April 12, will feature the most anticipated moments, with the celebration of the Festero Proclamation, now in its sixteenth edition. This year, the voice of Mig Any will be Keko, a member of the Almogàvers comparsa, chosen by vote among the comparsas themselves. The day will begin with the traditional mass.
After the proclamation, all comparsas will participate in a festive parade through the town's streets, concluding again at the Parque Empresarial venue. As a grand finale, the traditional “dinar de confraternitat” will be held, where nearly 3,000 servings of the typical “arròs amb fesols i naps” will be served, open to both comparsistas and residents.

"Mig Any is about living together and strengthening the bonds that unite us as festeros."
