The Massamagrell City Council has presented its program for the International LGTBIQ+ Pride Day, aiming to foster equality, respect, and diversity among citizens.

Under the slogan “In Massamagrell, we love as we wish”, the events will take place on June 26th and 28th. The initiative features participatory activities for young people, family events, a cultural performance, and the reading of an institutional manifesto.
The inaugural day, Friday, June 26th, will be aimed at young people aged 12 to 30 at the Youth Center, offering participatory activities, a snack, and a performance by the Unió Musical de Massamagrell.
That same evening, the Cultural Center will host a performance by Pam Demia as part of the “Música al Pati” series. Pam Demia is a recognized figure in the Valencian drag scene, known for a performance style that blends humor, culture, and advocacy, making her a reference in performing arts related to diversity and freedom of expression.
The program continues on Sunday, June 28th, with children's activities for ages 6 to 12, organized in collaboration with the scout groups of Massamagrell. The day will conclude with the reading of the institutional manifesto for International LGTBIQ+ Pride Day.

"Pride is an opportunity to advocate for a freer, more respectful, and egalitarian society; from institutions, we must continue working to guarantee the rights of all people and combat any form of discrimination."

Paco Gómez · Mayor of Massamagrell

"We have prepared a diverse program open to all citizens because we believe that awareness is fundamental to continue advancing in equality. Pride is not just a celebration, but also a demand for rights, respect, and freedom so that every person can live and express their identity with complete normality."

Araceli Munera · Equality Councilor
