The Association of People with Disabilities of Calpe (ADICALP) is experiencing a period of renewal, driven by its president Esteban Saiz and the collaboration of the City Council.

The Association of People with Disabilities of Calp (ADICALP) is going through a moment of enthusiasm and renewal, aiming to raise awareness, attract new members, and highlight its work. The entity has demonstrated that unity and effort yield results, thanks to the drive of Esteban Saiz, president for the past year and a half, and the support of Sandra Dobal, accessibility ambassador.
ADICALP emphasizes the unconditional support of the Calpe City Council, particularly from the Councilor for Social Welfare, Itziar Doval, who has consistently shown willingness and opened doors to all projects presented by the association.
The association's main objectives are focused on three lines: increasing ADICALP's visibility to attract new members, organizing events and talks for awareness and fundraising, and fostering real integration by breaking down social and architectural barriers to ensure active participation and equal opportunities for the association's youth within Calpe society.
In record time, between November 2025 and June 2026, ADICALP has consolidated its goals with two significant events. The 1st March for Disability, held in December for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, gathered over 200 people. Subsequently, the 1st Charity Concert sold more than 263 tickets, with proceeds directed towards youth activities.

"Seeing Calpe's response fills us with energy. Every step we take is so our young people can enjoy the recreational activities they deserve."

ADICALP is already looking towards the future with a series of awareness talks in local high schools to sow the seeds of inclusion from an early age, and is working on the Second March for Inclusion, scheduled for November 29th. To continue supporting these services, the entity calls for public collaboration by becoming members.
