A dispute between neighbors in the Palovi urbanization, located in the Les Deveses area of Dénia, has resulted in a resident's death. The victim, 43, reportedly lost his life after a physical altercation with his neighbor, who has been arrested by the National Police. According to initial hypotheses, the two men, who had prior disagreements over coexistence issues, began arguing on Wednesday around 6 PM.
The fight escalated, and at one point, the victim may have fallen backward, sustaining a fatal blow. Investigators are awaiting the results of the forensic examination from the Institute of Legal Medicine in Alicante to confirm the exact cause of death.
The alleged aggressor himself alerted emergency services and admitted to the events. The detainee spent the night in police custody awaiting judicial proceedings.
