Valencia Basket travels to San Sebastián to face IDK Euskotren in an LF Endesa match, where the 'taronja' team seeks to confirm its good momentum after the Copa de la Reina and recent victories.
Following their victory in the Copa de la Reina and two consecutive wins in the LF Endesa, Valencia Basket has regained an upward trajectory in both play and results. This positive momentum will be tested during their challenging visit to San Sebastián, where they will face IDK Euskotren at 6:00 PM. The home team still has chances to qualify for the playoffs, but at the same time, their permanence is not mathematically secured, adding pressure to the match.
The 'taronja' coach, Rubén Burgos, will have all twelve available players for this encounter. Among them is Awa Fam, who will play her last game before traveling directly to the United States to attend the WNBA Draft. Fam was the standout player in the first-round match against IDK Euskotren, where Valencia Basket won 69-54, with Awa contributing 17 points and 9 rebounds.
The match will also feature a triple reunion with former 'taronja' players: María Eraunzetamurgil, Rosó Buch, and Kristine Vitola. Vitola joined Valencia Basket in the 24-25 season and contributed to winning the Supercopa LF Endesa and the Liga Femenina Endesa, playing a total of 42 games. Eraunzetamurgil, for her part, arrived in June 2023 and wore the 'taronja' jersey on 45 occasions, winning three titles, including the Copa de la Reina and the Liga Femenina Endesa 2023-24. Rosó Buch had a brief stint with the team in the 2019-20 season.

"We have been thinking about an opponent, a complicated court where we have had many types of confrontations, both in the regular league and in the play-offs, and against an opponent who, curiously, was our first inaugural match at the Roig Arena, and that was a long time ago. They started the league at a spectacular level, achieving qualification for the Copa de la Reina, and now they are there, in that territory where they can aspire to the play-offs, but also feel the pressure from teams fighting to avoid relegation, so, doubly dangerous for having objectives at stake for the opponent, and especially for us having them."
Despite the 'taronja' team's good form, Rubén Burgos has warned about the opponent's danger. He highlighted that IDK Euskotren is a team with important objectives at stake, both for the playoffs and to avoid relegation, which makes them doubly dangerous. After this match, Valencia Basket will host Durán Maquinaria Ensino at the Roig Arena and will close the regular season with a trip to Murcia to face Hozono Global Jairis.

"The Gasca always has that factor that we lost last year and it's always tough. Also, these are situations where they need a win to breathe and it's going to be tough for sure. We discussed it today in training, that they are a very physical team, that they will play to bite, to leave their soul on the court and we have to know how to play with that."
