The city of Valencia has opened a new provisional footbridge connecting the Creu Coberta and Malilla neighborhoods, ensuring connectivity during Adif's Access Canal construction works.

The Valencia City Council's Mobility Service has removed the cyclopedestrian footbridge located on Pianista Empar Iturbi street. This measure, effective from today, Monday, June 8, is due to the Access Canal works being carried out by Adif in the area.
The new infrastructure connects Almudaina street, in the Creu Coberta neighborhood, with Oltà street, in the Malilla neighborhood. The distance between the old and new footbridge is approximately 150 meters. This temporary measure will allow pedestrians and cyclists to cross the railway tracks while the tunneling works are completed.
With this new connection, continuity between the Malilla and Creu Coberta neighborhoods is maintained, facilitating mobility for all users, including those using personal mobility vehicles (PMVs).
