The mascletà that was suspended during the last Fallas festivities now has a new date and format. It will take place on May 2nd at 9 PM, transforming into a nighttime spectacle in homage to mothers.

This pyrotechnic event, which could not be held in March due to a weather alert, will be carried out by Pirotecnia Zaragozana. For this company, it is the second consecutive time they have been unable to fire during the Fallas cycle, making the recovery of this act particularly significant.
The theme of this display will be a family tribute to mothers, coinciding with Mother's Day. The decision to hold it at night also aims to avoid potential conflicts with flower vendors, who on previous occasions had expressed concern about security closures hindering access to their stalls.
Despite being the only suspended display this year, the city will maintain its traditional mascletaes for the festivities of Corpus Christi and the Virgin. These celebrations will include double pyrotechnic shows: one at night on the eve and another during the day of the festival.
