The spokesperson for the socialist group in the council has filed a complaint with Antifraud regarding the possible existence of a conflict of interest involving a lawyer from the Generalitat. This individual allegedly acts as a representative for a parent construction company linked to the swap of 39 social housing units (VPO).
According to the statement, the lawyer reportedly concealed her involvement with the construction company, despite potentially incurring a conflict of interest, as the Generalitat has certified that she did not request the necessary compatibility to combine her public activity with private business.
“"It cannot be that high-ranking officials of the Valencian Generalitat linked to the Popular Party are simultaneously involved in the administration of public money and the administration of their private businesses."
The socialist group has indicated that the lawyer is a representative for the companies Domio Desarrollos SL and Domio Habitat, two of the construction companies involved in the municipal land swap promoted by the local government in exchange for the 39 VPO units, which had already been commercialized.
The PSPV has recalled that it previously took this swap to the Prosecutor's Office, as the company had commercialized the offered homes, failing to meet one of the mandatory requirements for the swap. Despite many owners having taken legal action against the company's decision to break its commitment to families, the local government proceeded with the swap.
