Valencia Basket is commemorating its second Liga Endesa title, which they won this Wednesday after defeating Barça at the Palau Blaugrana. The festivities began yesterday with a celebration at the Roig Arena, where over 6,500 people cheered the victory, and continued at Manises airport with a reception by around 200 fans.
Today's events, May 25th, will start at 6 PM at the Real Basílica De Nuestra Señora De Los Desamparados. A club delegation, led by coach Pedro Martínez and captains Josep Puerto and Jaime Pradilla, will lay a floral offering with a Valencia Basket jersey and the Liga Endesa trophy to the Mare de Déu.
Subsequently, the celebration will move to the Roig Arena from 8 PM onwards, with a tribute event for the champions. Entry will be free until full capacity is reached, with doors opening at 7:00 PM.
