The Provincial Prosecutor's Office of Madrid has archived the complaint filed against a youth organization for alleged irregularities in the management of funds raised for those affected by DANA Valencia.

The judicial body decided to archive the complaint, filed by two former leaders of the organization, understanding that the facts presented were too generic and did not provide the necessary specificity to continue with the procedure.
The complainants had warned about a possible fraud in the allocation of funds and in the collection of membership fees without associated rights. Both resigned and, shortly after, on November 30, filed a joint complaint with the Prosecutor's Office.
Before the complaint, the former leaders had requested from the organization's president, during October, the convening of a board meeting and an assembly with a notary. The objective was to review the situation, decide on the orderly liquidation of the association, settle outstanding tax accounts, and donate any remaining funds to the real victims of the DANA.
