The fourth edition of 'Pedal for the Planet' transformed the Turia Garden, next to Valencia's Palau de la Música, into a hub for sustainable cycling and family leisure, attracting nearly 450 registered participants and over 600 visitors.

Driven by Tuawa, a Global Omnium group company specializing in sustainable water sources, alongside the VCV organization, this year's event surpassed initial attendance forecasts, demonstrating growing interest in such initiatives.
The main activity of the day was a 10-kilometer ride starting and finishing at the Palau de la Música. This route followed the cycling path along the Turia River bed, allowing both children and adults to participate and solidifying the event's success.

"The high number of registrants confirms the growing interest in proposals that combine sport, leisure, and sustainability, especially those linked to raising awareness about reducing single-use bottles."

The event benefited from the collaboration of numerous entities and companies committed to sustainability, which contributed to the so-called 'Cyclist's Kit'. Among these were X-Sauce, VCV, Horno Iborra, AVACU, Unión de Consumidores, Teika, and 014 Cycles. Additionally, the day brought together various sports clubs, Valencian federations, and public institutions, reinforcing the initiative's broad appeal.
Beyond the ride, the area around the Palau hosted a Fan Zone with activities for all ages. Children enjoyed sustainable workshops, face painting, and educational games, while the program was rounded out with live music, a performance by the K-Pop group Mundo Mágico, and musical entertainment by Xaranga’n Roll at the cyclists' start and finish lines. The day concluded with a raffle for four official VCV jerseys, a children's bicycle, and a selection of cycling products.

"Valencian society has shown an excellent response to the call, reaffirming the commitment to sustainability, responsible mobility, and sport as a tool for social transformation."
