The Elche Governing Board has today approved the start of the tender process for the pyrotechnic services for the 2026 Nit de l'Albà celebration. The base bidding budget has been set at 193,538 euros.
According to the municipal spokesperson, Inma Mora, the pyrotechnic show will incorporate several novelties compared to the previous year. These include a new firing zone located at Paseo de Jaca and an increase in the number of launches from different points in the city. One of the new locations will be the Puente de Altamira, where color effects will be introduced.
The spokesperson added that more details about the organization of this event, one of the most emblematic acts of the city's August Festivals, will be announced in the coming weeks.
The contracting procedure will be carried out through a negotiated process without prior publication, due to technical exclusivity reasons. The company Pirotecnia Ferrández S.L., which has traditionally been responsible for one of the most significant acts of the festivals, will be invited to participate.
This measure is in addition to the increased investment allocated to the mascletàs, aiming to enhance their spectacularity.
