The 42nd edition of PechaKucha Night Valencia will take place on Thursday, April 23, at the Velluters headquarters of the School of Art and Design of Valencia (EASD), focusing on the relationship between ceramics, design, and innovation.

This event, held in collaboration with the Manises International Ceramics Biennial, its Ceramics Museum, and the city council, serves as the opening act for the Biennial's program. The Biennial will bring together, between April and July, key figures in art and design, along with new talents, in a journey that connects tradition, industry, and ceramic experimentation.
The new edition of the Biennial will transform the city of Manises into a meeting point for art, design, and reflection on contemporary ceramics. This will be achieved through conferences, round tables, exhibitions, screenings, and guided tours.
The day will begin at 6:00 PM with the round table Ceramic Graphic Heritage, featuring the participation of designers and a restorer. The event will conclude with the presentation of nine projects on ceramics in the PechaKucha Night format.
Among the participants presenting their projects are a designer, a ceramist and author of the official poster, a ceramic researcher, an expert in craftsmanship and sustainable design, a representative from a technology center, a ceramist, and members of an international project and the communications director of a renowned ceramics company.
The evening will conclude with a networking session in the hall of EASD Valencia, with the collaboration of a local beer brand and music from a DJ. Admission is free until full capacity is reached.
