Worker representatives stated in a press release that the mobilization aims to urge the regional administration to resume discussions on these two matters and fulfill the commitments made to the staff of these departments.
The committees have expressed their support for the regularization process, although they have warned of a lack of progress since last February. They assert that no meetings have been held, there is no defined calendar, and no information has been provided on the procedure's status, particularly concerning the pending resolution from the Legal Counsel's office.
This situation is generating "uncertainty and demotivation" among the affected staff. Furthermore, worker representatives criticize the lack of progress in negotiating new labor improvements, which, they recall, the Ministry had committed to addressing during 2025.
The committees believe these improvements should be negotiated independently of the regularization process. They also warn that the paralysis of negotiation tables is exacerbating the loss of purchasing power for staff and widening the gap compared to statutory personnel.
Among their main demands, the committees are calling for a transparent calendar for the regularization process, the immediate opening of a negotiation table on labor improvements, the participation of worker representation in both processes, and a commitment from the Administration to prevent further delays.
Staff representatives maintain that workers have demonstrated their commitment to public healthcare and are asking the Ministry for a response that allows for a "fair, agile, and negotiated" process, preserving both labor rights and the quality of care.
