The Mostra de València-Cinema del Mediterrani has unveiled a renewed visual identity, featuring its iconic palm tree redesigned, to adapt to the digital ecosystem and project a more current image.

The Mostra de València-Cinema del Mediterrani has presented its new image, the result of an evolution that seeks to align with current times and the digital landscape. The presentation took place at the Palau de la Música, where the logo was highlighted as the undisputed protagonist of this change.
The new approach maintains the soul of the Mostra, which is its emblematic palm tree. Far from eliminating it, a redesign with a more contemporary focus has been chosen, achieving a cleaner and more powerful construction. This symbol not only gains formal stability but also optimizes its performance to shine on all digital platforms.
Thanks to a flexible and controlled graphic system, the palm tree dynamically adapts to each piece of the new identity. The objective is to project a more current, clean, and powerful presence, without losing any of the recognition that Mostra de València has built throughout its history.

"The arrival of the Mostra at the Palau de la Música is consolidating this new project, but, above all, it is receiving a great administrative boost. With the new brand, we are entering a line of renewal that adapts to new times."

The 41st edition of the Mostra de València kicks off with this new graphic identity, adapted to current communication needs without losing commitment to the festival's history. The proposal, by the creative agency Estimado José Alfredo, aims to gain visibility and achieve more complete implementation.
However, the councilor for Compromís in the València City Council, Gloria Tello, has expressed her disagreement, considering that this change represents a new disregard for the Valencian design sector by the PP government. The coalition criticizes the elimination of the previous graphic image, created by Boke Bazán, to replace it with a new one made by an agency contracted by the Palau de la Música.

"The Valencian design sector is of a high standard and has nothing to envy others. They deserve all the respect and support from public administrations. Furthermore, making politics does not consist of eliminating past work to impose a new imprint at the expense of professionalism, but rather it should be based on building and adding from respect for what has been well done."
