The award, one of the country's most significant in graphic design and visual communication, was presented on June 11th at the Disseny Hub in Barcelona. The winning poster announced the 2026 edition of the pyrotechnic event, promoted by the fallas commissions Convento Jerusalén, Mossén Sorell-Corona, Maestro Gozalbo, Pintor Segrelles, and Jesús-San Francesc de Borja.
The festival, now in its sixth edition, takes place over two consecutive weekends before the fallas week, showcasing innovative pyrotechnic displays at various locations across the city of València.
The poster's design, printed in white screen printing on black cardstock in large format, integrates image and typography to represent a unique moment of the pyrotechnic spectacle, exploring new forms of graphic communication in this field.
The jury, composed of over forty experts in various categories, evaluates the works based on criteria such as idea, execution, functionality, innovation, and consistency.
The LAUS Awards, held since 1964, gather hundreds of graphic design and visual communication professionals from across Spain in Barcelona, recognizing the most outstanding projects and promoting the cultural and economic importance of design for society.
