Central Government has paid over 7.8 billion euros in DANA aid

Subsidies and compensation for the DANA of October 29th now exceed 7.8 billion euros, benefiting 360,362 individuals and entities.

The Central Government has confirmed that, to date, over 7.8 billion euros have been allocated in aid and subsidies for individuals and entities affected by the DANA of October 29th, with a total of 360,362 grants awarded.

According to the latest data update from the Central Executive, the resources mobilized to address the damages from the DANA amount to 16.6 billion euros. Of this sum, approximately 9.410 billion euros have been executed as of April 6th.
The specific amount paid in aid and subsidies stands at 7,862,597,491 euros. Additionally, 801,048,711 euros have been financed or guaranteed, and 746,646,887 euros have been executed in direct actions for the recovery of affected areas.
The Insurance Compensation Consortium has managed a large volume of applications, registering 251,301 and processing 249,521. The indemnities paid by this entity total 4,397,291,594 euros, with 99.3% of applications already processed. More than 132,000 payments have been made for vehicles and over 62,000 for homes.
Regarding direct actions, recovery works for riverbeds and infrastructures have been carried out, valued at 135,195,868 euros. Declared emergency works amount to 268,207,148 euros, of which 237,427,000 euros correspond to the Júcar demarcation. The Government has reported 400 completed actions in riverbeds and hydraulic infrastructures, with 252 currently underway and 98 planned for immediate execution.
Furthermore, actions on roads have been executed for 152,889,344 euros, and works on state infrastructures by Adif for 188,131,515 euros, with an additional 10,941,791 euros in other Adif infrastructures. The Government has reminded that all affected sections of the State Road Network (160 km) are open to traffic, and all railway connections have been restored, except for the Buñol-Utiel section of the C3 Cercanías line, which maintains an alternative bus transport plan.
