The Auditori de Torrent will close the month of April with a varied program featuring theater, Valencian pop-rock, and early music, offering a diverse cultural proposal for all audiences.

The first event will be on Friday, April 24 at 8:00 PM with actress Toni Acosta, who will star in the play Una madre de película. This monologue, written and directed by Juan Carlos Rubio, explores the moment a child leaves home and how the mother faces this new stage marked by distance and uncertainty.
In the play, Acosta portrays Eva María, a mother who receives an urgent message from her son, a student at a US university. The seemingly simple task turns into a profound reflection on motherhood and family bonds.
The program will continue on Saturday, April 25 at 8:00 PM with a concert by Novembre Elèctric. The band has chosen Torrent to bid farewell to their album Tarongers live, a work with which they celebrate their first decade of career. The group will offer a broad repertoire, reviewing both their most recent compositions and some of their most representative songs.
Launched in 2014 by Valencian composer Yeray Calvo, Novembre Elèctric has established itself in the Valencian music scene with a pop-rock proposal. The album Tarongers featured collaborations with artists and groups such as La Fúmiga, La Habitación Roja, Esther, and Pau Alabajos.
The weekend will conclude on Sunday, April 26 at 7:00 PM with Capella de Ministrers, an ensemble specializing in early and baroque music directed by Carles Magraner. The group will present the program Arie e lamenti. El nacimiento de la ópera, focusing on works linked to the Italian composer Sigismondo d’India and complemented by instrumental pieces by Girolamo Frescobaldi, Giovanni Girolamo Kapsberger, Diego Ortiz, and Luigi Rossi.
For this performance, Carles Magraner will be accompanied by Beatriz Lafont, on soprano and baroque guitar, and by Manuel Minguillón, on baroque guitar and theorbo. With these three proposals, the Auditori de Torrent completes its April program with a diverse cultural offering that caters to different audiences and styles.
