Organized by Acció Cultural del País Valencià (ACPV), the march proceeded through the streets of central València, led by a banner proclaiming "Against aggressions, we are the strength of the country".
The event highlighted the "multiple threats facing society," including those to language, culture, traditions, territory, the environment, and attacks on feminism and the LGTBI community.
“"This April 25th, entities that demand a sovereign, free País Valencià with full democratic rights are demonstrating, a country that respects our national identity and ideological and thought diversity."
Furthermore, the Generalitat Valenciana has been urged to promote policies supporting housing, youth, and environmental sustainability, and to respect the linguistic rights of Valencian speakers and their culture, ceasing harassment of the cultural and educational sectors.
The demonstration served as a "space for encounter, demand, and expression," bringing together representatives from the Unió de Llauradors, the platform 'València no está en venda', Local Emergency and Reconstruction Committees, healthcare associations, and associations for Democratic Memory of País Valencià, among others.
According to ACPV, thousands responded to the call, demonstrating "collective strength and mobilization capacity" in a demanding and firm atmosphere, without significant incidents, solidifying April 25th as the "popular, political, and social Day" of the Comunitat Valenciana.
