The town of Segorbe is preparing for a literary day on April 25, with Plaza Alto Palancia as the epicenter of a Book Fair that will include author signings, workshops, and shows for all ages.

The celebration, part of World Book Day, will begin at 11:00 AM with a photocall called 'A book, a photo,' organized by the Agrupación Fotográfica de Segorbe. Simultaneously, children can enjoy a bonsai care workshop, led by the Club Bonsái Segorbe.
At 11:30 AM, the Salón de los Alcaldes of the Segorbe Town Hall will host the awards ceremony for the XLVIII Comarcal Literary Contest, one of the most anticipated moments for local literature enthusiasts. The afternoon will be filled with fun with the 'Rain of Words' parade, by the company Visitants, starting at 5:00 PM from Plaza General Giménez Salas.
The day will culminate at 7:00 PM in Plaza Alto Palancia with the humor show 'Today, Book,' starring Vicente Marco and Carmen Giménez. Throughout the day, the Book Fair will feature stalls from local bookstores Athenas, Papelería Agua Limpia, and Avenida, offering a 5% discount on book purchases.
Several authors will be signing copies of their works. At Athenas bookstore, readers can find Majo de la Concepción (11:00 AM-1:00 PM), Marcos Navarro (11:00 AM-1:00 PM), Javier Alamán (12:30 PM-2:00 PM), Héctor Hugo Navarro (12:30 PM-2:00 PM), Rosario Raro (6:00 PM-7:00 PM), and Vicente Marco (after his show).
