Students from IES Alto Palancia in Segorbe have played a prominent role in the first edition of EmprendeTech FP, a program that brought together 135 students and 10 teachers from centers across the province.

The initiative, promoted by the European Center for Business and Innovation of Castellón (CEEI Castellón), culminated in the celebration of Demo Day, where a total of 15 technological entrepreneurship projects were presented.
Among the five winning proposals, which will compete in the regional meeting scheduled in Valencia, are two developed by students from IES Alto Palancia. These are La Colmena, focused on a mead cooperative with various applications, and Entoagro, which proposes the breeding of beneficial fauna for pest control through the use of technology and a specific application.
The event, held at the CEEI Castellón facilities, also featured the participation of students from IES Joan Coromines in Benicarló and IES Caminàs in Castellón. During the day, students defended their projects before an evaluation committee, addressing areas such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, and the digitalization of services.

"EmprendeTech FP aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial and technological skills of Vocational Training students through training, mentoring, and the development of initiatives with real-world application."

The program is part of the Tech FabLab Comunitat Valenciana project, promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana and funded by Next Generation European funds. The day also included presentations, networking spaces, and a round table on entrepreneurship, consolidating this program as a key platform to connect Vocational Training with the business fabric and foster young talent in the province.
