The provincial president of PPCS, Marta Barrachina, highlighted this Tuesday in Segorbe the investments allocated to Alto Palancia and Alto Mijares, amounting to 46.5 million euros since the beginning of the legislature.

During a regional meeting with mayors, councilors, and party members from the judicial districts of Segorbe and Viver, Barrachina stated that these actions aim to strengthen public services, improve infrastructure, and foster the development of inland municipalities, thereby helping to retain population and create new opportunities.
The popular party leader asserted that the political change has enabled the promotion of projects that, in her view, enhance residents' quality of life. Among these, she mentioned the provision of mammograms without the need to travel to Valencia, the completion of educational centers in towns like Soneja and Jérica, the future launch of day centers in Sot de Ferrer and Teresa, and the improvement of the sports center in Navajas.
Barrachina also emphasized the commitment to rural areas through investments in roads and transport links. In the judicial district of Segorbe, over 19 million euros have been allocated, including actions in municipalities such as Algimia de Almonacid, Almedíjar, Aín, Caudiel, Puebla de Arenoso, Higueras, Gaibiel, Torás, Jérica, and Villanueva de Viver.
These investments are complemented by those for energy sustainability through the Resol Plan, endowed with 1.2 million euros to promote projects linked to renewable energies in the municipalities of both regions.
Regarding the judicial district of Viver, investments total 27.3 million euros, with specific projects developed through municipal agreements, such as the improvement of the Navajas sports center, the roof of the fronton court in Villamalur, or actions on the water supply network in Sot de Ferrer.
Furthermore, she highlighted the construction of helipads in Torás and Barracas, as well as the upcoming completion of the one in Gaibiel, in addition to investments made in wastewater treatment to improve basic services in the inland municipalities.
The objective of the Popular Party, Barrachina concluded, is to continue strengthening the development of these regions through investments that boost service provision and contribute to the growth of the entire province.
