Two vegetation fires have broken out in forest areas of Benafigos and Culla, in the Alt Maestrat region, mobilizing firefighters from the Castellón Provincial Council and air resources for their extinction.

The fires, which appear to have been caused by lightning strikes, have required a rapid response to prevent their spread in these wooded areas.
In the municipality of Benafigos, a fire brigade unit has been deployed to control the flames. Meanwhile, in Culla, the response has been more extensive, with the participation of two forest units, a helicopter with a helitransported brigade, and a forest coordinator.
Information on these incidents is still being developed, and authorities continue to work to fully extinguish the fires and accurately determine their causes.
