This project, curated by the Alcorina artist Ana Beltrán Porcar, offers a meeting space where ceramics, the body, and action intertwine to generate live artistic experiences. Terra Ceràmica thus explores the possibilities arising from the convergence of tradition and contemporaneity, placing matter, gesture, and process as central axes of the proposals.
The program will bring together national and international artists who investigate the boundaries between ceramic practice and action art. Noemí Iglesias Barrios will present He loves me, he loves me not, a performance based on the popular game of plucking daisy petals to reflect on the cultural construction of romantic love. Through porcelain and mass production methodologies, the artist critiques the commodification of emotions.

The cycle will also feature Passagères Souterraines, a scenic proposal by Christine Coste, Claire Bossé, and Violaine Joffart that combines movement, voice, and matter in a landscape of clay and earth. For their part, ceramists Ángel Igual and Antonio Pérez Requena will present Dansa del Foc, an action in which the ceramic firing process transforms into a performative event open to the public.
This year's edition will be expanded with a preliminary day including the action Arcano XVII by Liliana Díaz at ESCAL, where ceramic processes in relation to the body show the symbolism of change. In the afternoon, the performance Intercambio de Remedios, carried out with Cynthia Fusillo, presents the body and ceramics as symbolic vessels of shared experiences and knowledge.
To make this proposal possible, the City Council of l'Alcora, Caixa Rural de l'Alcora, the Diputación, the Museum of Ceramics of l'Alcora, and ESCAL collaborate, promoting contemporary ceramic art in the province. With this second edition, Terra Ceràmica continues to consolidate itself as a space for the encounter between contemporary art, ceramic tradition, and community.
