The town of l'Alcora is finalizing details for its Taurine Easter celebration, scheduled from April 10 to 12, offering a diverse program that includes bullfighting events, gastronomic proposals, and cultural activities for all audiences.

The bullfighting program will be one of the central axes of the festival, with activities spread throughout the weekend. On Friday, April 10, it will begin with heifers from the La Espuela ranch at 6:00 PM, followed by two 'toros embolados' (bulls with flaming horns) from the same ranch during the night.
Saturday, April 11, is expected to be an intense day, starting at 11:00 AM with the rural bull run of Capota from Partida Musolera, with an estimated arrival at Sant Roc square at 12:30 PM. In the afternoon, at 5:30 PM, it will be the turn of cattle from Hilario Princep. One of the highlights will be the release of the wild bull “Vistoso” from the La Jotera ranch at 7:00 PM. The night will be completed with 'carretones' (toy bulls) for children, a 'toro embolado' from La Espuela, the 'embolada' of “Vistoso”, and 'vaquillas enfundadas' (heifers with protected horns).
On Sunday, April 12, the bullfighting program will continue with children's 'carretones' at 11:00 AM and heifers from La Espuela at 1:00 PM. In the afternoon, the second wild bull, “Puntero”, also from La Jotera, will be released at 7:00 PM. The Taurine Easter will conclude at 11:00 PM with the 'toro embolado' from La Espuela and the subsequent 'embolada' of “Puntero”.
In parallel to the bullfighting festivities, the Town Hall Square will host the Gastronomic Inn, coordinated by the Town Hall and the Hospitality and Tourism Association of l'Alcora (Hosturialc). Establishments such as Route 66, Riscla, Ateneo, and Macnumm will participate. The official inauguration will be on Friday at 7:30 PM with an afternoon musical session by the group Five. On Saturday, the inn will open at 12:00 PM and will feature performances by De Calle and a concert by Kasparov, in addition to the l'Alcora DJ festival at Pista Jardín. On Sunday, gastronomic and musical activities will continue from midday, closing with a performance by the group Lunáticos at 7:30 PM. Children's workshops will also be available throughout the three days.
The cultural and traditional agenda will be complemented by the exhibition “La ternura del arraigo” by Lucía Mallol, which will open on Thursday, April 9, at the Nau dels Forns de la Real Fábrica. Additionally, on Saturday, the traditional Pilgrimage through the Hermitages will take place, starting early from the Calvary Hermitage and visiting enclaves such as San Cristóbal, San Vicente, or El Salvador, concluding at night in the Parish Church.
