The CeramicRes program in l'Alcora has opened its call for 2026, offering three artistic residencies for creators wishing to develop contemporary ceramic projects linked to the local territory.

The initiative aims to place contemporary ceramics at the center of artistic creation in l'Alcora, a town with a deep tradition in this field. Selected artists will have the opportunity to explore the relationship between current creation and the local context, with ceramics as the main focus.
The deadline for submitting proposals is now open and will close on June 12. Three unpublished projects will be selected, each receiving a financial endowment of 3,500 euros to cover fees, living expenses, and production.
The residencies will take place over three months, specifically between September 14 and December 18, 2026, at the facilities of the Escola Superior de Ceràmica de l'Alcora (ESCAL). This environment provides shared workspaces and technical support, combining artisanal processes with advanced techniques in a town internationally recognized for its ceramic production and innovation.
The program also includes meetings with industry professionals, open activities for the public, and a final exhibition to bring the creative processes closer to the community. Furthermore, the resulting works will be presented in Castellón through the Marte Contemporary Art Fair, expanding their dissemination. The call is open to national and international artists of legal age with artistic experience and knowledge in ceramics, and applications must be submitted digitally.
